I love shopping around the world: Toronto

Even this month, although late, comes back the space dedicated to travels and shopping. This time, I will talk about Toronto (that most of you may know as TO), one of the most beautiful city of Canada. I've spent there my easter vacations with my dearest friend Lisa, few years ago.

With a deep multicultural identity, the city offers a wide range of glamour fashion destinations for all  the lovers of fashion and shopping, from little boutiques to the flagship stores of the biggest names of fashion. Like the other capital of fashion, Toronto also has its district dedicated to shopping. The ones that I suggest you to visit are: Bloor/Yorkville, Ossington Ave, Queen Street West, and Rosedale

If you love the expensive shopping, a good start is, for sure, Bloor/Yorkville. You can't say to have seen Toronto if you didn't visit this district. Bounded by Bloor Steet West, Avenue Road, Davenport Road e Yonge Steet, called Mink Mile, is seat of fashion and luxory designers like Tiffany & Co., Chanel, Hérmes, Dolce & Gabbana and Burberry. Here, you will also enrich your wardrobe with unique creations by the coolest canadian designers, among which, Jeremy Lang, Hoax Couture, Izzy Camilleri and Nadya Toto. If you are there I suggest you to visit stores like Betsey Johnson (102 Yorkville); 119 Corbo (119 Yorkville), a store where you'll find shoes of every labels: from YSL to Miu Miu, with very good prices; Aldo shoes (50 Bloor Street West); 72 gem street (98b Scollard Street), a store where you'll find rare natural gemstones.

Other great stores are: Adrienen Foley on Hazelton (30 Hazelton Ave), the boutique offers a dynamic, relaxing but fun and playful environment in the heart of Yorkville; Anthropologie (80 Yorkville Ave), this store offers a one-of-a-kind and compelling shopping experience that you will remember for sure; Aritzia (50 Bloor Street West), an inusual store where you'll find clothes of every style, gladdened by live performances of some DJs; Augustina Boutiques Ldt. (138 Cumberland Street), here you'll find exclusive fashion and luxury accessories: jewellery, handbags, shoes and apparel, drawn by the most interesting and innovative designers in the business; Black Box Boutique (106 Yorkville Ave), a jewellery box boutique that excites the eyes and inspires your lifestyle; De Catarina Leather (Unit 60, 55 Bloor Street), this specialty shop sells handbags, wallets, briefcases and travel accessories from labels like Dooney & Bourke, Francesco Biasia, Kenneth Cole, Perlina and Mandarina Duck; Elizabeth Kay (55 Bloor Street West), this shop offers exclusive european designer collection from Basler, Bagutta, Junge, Maska and Olsen complemented by Elizabeth Kay's own private label creations.

Continuing the tour is the turn of Ossington Ave. In this beautiful district tradition and modernity are perfectly melted together. Ossington  is, in fact, seat of young artist and talented designers. It's the palce where new trends born and the emrging designers of Toronto launch their career. If you are vintage lovers, then this is place for you. Here, you can't not miss Jonathan & Olivia (49 Ossington Ave), the clothes that you'll find are bold and reflect perfectly the personality of the owner; Emporium by I miss you and I miss you (63 Ossington Ave), delicious vintage stores that you'll love for sure; Philip Sparks (162 Ossington Ave), another nice vintage shop; Silver Falls (15 Ossington Ave), the store offers a fine selection of vintage, mixing some more modern designer pieces but staying within an affordableprice range; Rescue Vintage (102 Ossington Ave), a great store that you can't miss; Vintage mix (186 Ossington Ave), if you like vintage, it will be your favourite store.

Well, if you still have money in your pocket, now you can visit Rosedale. Once there, I suggest you to see: 6 by Gee Beauty (6 Roxbourg Street West), where you'll find amazing luxory accessories; Alexia von Beck (1228 Yonge Street), a small boutique that offers nice women clothing; Catherine Curtis (1260 Yonge Street), here you'll find some glamorous and timeless pieces; Haute Classics (946 Yonge Street), the store stocks designer denim and high-end handbags that look barely worn. Believe, it really deserves a visit; Room 2046 (1252 Yonge Street), in this shop you'll find clothes of every kind; Shopnyla (1062 Yonge Street), the clothes you'll find there have a casual style, but they are realized using luxurious fabrics; Narwhal (8 Price Street Suite 101), this store is considered the mecca of fashion in the city, offering the creations of the designers Chloe Comme Paris and Rachel Hawkes Cameron and other accessories of famous brands; TNT boutique (87 Avenue Road), this store is an obliged destination if you do shopping in Toronto. Here you'll find all the must-haves of season and the coolest fashion creations of the moment; least but not last, a store that a shoes lover like me couldn't not talk about: Specchio (1240 Bay Street), the biggest and coolest shoe store of the city, where you can find the wonders created by names such Balmain, Barbara Bui, Costume National and Cesare Paciotti.
